The dhak is the heartbeat of Durga Puja, and in this hands-on workshop our dhakis open the drum circle to everyone. You will learn the basic bols (strokes) that drive the dashami procession, then play them together as a group.
No experience and no instrument needed — dhaks are provided. Children from age eight upward are welcome with an adult, and the session ends with a full ensemble play-along that you will recognise from the pandal.
